Potassium Sorbate

- More effective than other preservatives, Calcium propionate & Sod. Benzoate.
- In Baking Inds., It prevents Molds, Yeast and Microbes.
- Mainly used in Baking Inds, Icing, Beverages, Syrups Cheese & Dry Fruits.
- Also in Pharma Formulations, Syrups and Liquids and also as Wine Stabilizer.
- Also used in Cosmetics & Personal Care Products.
Benzoic Acid, E-210

- It has the advantage that it does not affect the Odour or Taste of the Soft Drinks, if used in small Quantities.
- Due to its low solubility in Water (all Soft Drinks), Sod. Benzoate is used largely.
- The acceptable daily intake (ADI) is 5 mg / kg. Body weight.
